I'm surpised I haven't heard more about this around here. Imo, this is an amazing revelation. For Des Moines to be included on that list of cities is something to be extremely proud of. I'm speaking mostly to the bar graph on the page and not the article. According to the graph, only 19 cities in the US have had more net migration of educated adults over the age of 25 (between 05-07).
I've been trying to find more detail on the roots of this report but have been unsuccessful so far.

If you scan through the thread I think someone calculated that Sarasota and Des Moines were the top cities per capita in regards to net inflow.
If this study does in fact have legs to stand on, I think the city should promote this to no end. Thoughts?
