Northern Iowa to build apartment-style housing

CEDAR FALLS - The University of Northern Iowa expects to break ground this fall on the first of three potential phases of a $64 million apartment-style housing project.
The Board of Regents recently approved the schematic design for the building developed by InVision Architecture and a St. Louis firm that specializes in student housing. Michael Hager, executive director of the residence system, said the new building was designed to "blend in and complement the rest of the campus."....

It should be interesting to see what this does or does not do to private sector apartments market and assessed values once this project is fully developed.
