Even though it won't result in new jobs, it does show John Deere's commitment to the Cedar Valley.

Deere is investing $70 million in Waterloo again. Not as exciting as a new condo project or hospital addition in Iowa City, but good news for Iowa's forsaken former industrial giant city.
